Premadevi Maraimalai
- My name is Premadevi Maraimalai and I am running for Vice President of the 2023 board.
- Although I am from Tamil Nadu, I was born and raised in Sri Lanka.
- I’ve worked with multiple nonprofit organizations including hosting fundraising events for Harvard Tamil Chair.
- In 2018, I was a part of the FETNA Welcome and Hospitality group and served as one of the main contact points for speaking guests and visitors.
- I also served in the Tamil Isai Group at the function and helped organize the dance programs.
- I assisted with the Tamil Theni group as well at Fetna, which James Vasanthan hosted.
- For the last 10 years, I have volunteered for Avvai Tamil School, including serving as the Cultural Director in 2017 and currently the Vice Principal of the Frisco branch.
- As Vice Principal, I help facilitate performances, annual events, Villu Pattu, debates, drama, as well Fetna participation.
- All in all, I am grateful for Metroplex Tamil Sangam for how proud we are of our heritage and for giving future generations the support and community they need to further our culture. I know the value of forging partnerships between our society and culture and if you give me this opportunity, I hope to continue what I have already been doing in a larger scale.

2023 மெட்ரோப்ளக்ஸ் தமிழ்ச்சங்க தேர்தலில் துணை தலைவர் போட்டியிட உள்ளேன்.
நான் பிரேமாதேவி மறைமலை, தமிழ்நாட்டை பூர்வீகமாக கொண்ட நான் பிறந்து வளர்ந்தது இலங்கை கொழும்பு மாநகரில்.
அமேரிக்காவில் கடந்த பல ஆண்டுகளாக உள்ளேன். குடிபெயர்ந்த ஆண்டு முதல் பல்வேறு மாநிலங்களில் Connecticut தமிழ்ச்சங்கம், New Jersey தமிழ்ச்சங்கம், New York தமிழ்ச்சங்கம், இங்கு Dallas உள்ள Metroplex தமிழ்ச்சங்கம் மற்றும் FeTNA நிகழ்ச்சிகளில் குடும்பத்துடன் பல்வேறு தன்னார்வ தொண்டுகளில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளேன்.
Dallas MTS செயற்குழு மற்றும் இங்குள்ள பல்வேறு தன்னார்வலர் குழுக்களில் இணைந்து பணியாற்றியது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
- Harvard தமிழ் இருக்கை நிதி திரட்டுதல்
- 2018 FeTNA வரவேற்பு குழு , விருந்தினர் உபச்சாரம் குழு, தமிழ் இசைக் குழு , நடனக்குழு, முக்கியமாக தமிழ்த்தேனீயில் திரு. ஜேம்ஸ வசந்த் அவர்களுடன் இணைந்து பணியாற்றியது குறிப்பிடதக்கது .
அவ்வை தமிழ் பள்ளியில், கடந்த 10 ஆண்டுகளாக தொடக்கம் முதல் பல நிலைகளில் பள்ளி ஆசிரியராகவும், கடந்த நான்கு ஆண்டுகளாக துணை முதல்வராகவும், 2017 இல் கலாச்சார இயக்குனராக பள்ளி குழந்தைகளை ஊக்குவித்து பல்வேறு கலை நிகழ்ச்சிகளான நடனம், வில்லுபாட்டு, நகைச்சுவை நாடகங்கள் இயற்றி உள்ளேன்.
பல்வேறு தன்னார்வல தொண்டு நிறுவனங்களில் பணியாற்றிய நான், MTS இல் துணை தலைவர் பொறுப்பிற்கு போட்டியிடுகிறேன். எனக்கு உங்களின் ஆதரவை வாக்களிக்க கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்.
